Today we went to visit The Temple of the Six Banyan Trees which is an ancient Buddhist temple originally built in 537. It was very interesting. The architecture was impressive.
Kai was so well behaved. He loves to be on the go.  He did a lot of walking with the assistance of one of us. He is amazingly close to both of us - everyone comments on how happy he is! He is a wonderful baby! People are surprised to see how small he is for his age. They say he looks like he is around 6-9 months. He slumps down in his stroller because it’s comfortable for him, but they think he can’t sit up. :)
Tonight we ate at a Cantonese restaurant with Ike. They have very odd things on the menu. Roger and I struggled to find 2 entrees to eat. Finally they altered a beef and broccoli for us and I ordered a scallop and vegetable dish. Anyone who knows me knows I don’t eat scallops - that is how odd the dishes were. I could have chosen fish head, eel balls (?!?), snake, fish intestines, any organ meat you can think of, and a variety of other things that I would never try. It was also very expensive. One thing I did like was watching how to make the hot tea. It is like a ceremony. In this restaurant, you pay for hot tea whether you drink it or not, so we ordered black tea. My husband likes scallops, but the shave them so thin, you couldn’t even tell they were scallops. That night, I broke out in a rash all over my arms, back, chest, and the back of my legs. I had to take Benadryl, and it kept me up all night.

  1. Jillian, he is already changing in his looks. His little face is filling out and you probably don't see it as readily since you see him every day. He does seem like the best little thing...what a blessing to you and Roger. Wish I could kiss that sweet little face. bf
